GEORGES RIVER COUNCIL
Summer streets
A summer-themed event series for a buzzing Georges River will see businesses, cultural organisations, community groups and the entertainment industry breathing life back into the streets.
A suite of family friendly outings are lined up, with food, crafts, markets and circus tricks on offer, thanks to a partnership between Georges River Council and the NSW government. Check it out December 9, 4pm-10pm, Forest Road, Hurstville.
Also don't miss the circus school on December 18-19 from 10am-3pm at Kogarah Town Square, and the pop-up park from January 14-16 from 10am-4pm at Palm Court, Hurstville.
Night markets are also coming on January 21 from 4pm-10pm, Belgrave Street, Kogarah. The entire street block will transform in to a playground for kids, big and small. Featuring an outdoor beer garden, a live funk pop band and farmers market.
