The Wanda SLSC Tradies One Club carnival will be back for its sixth year on Saturday 4 December, with over one thousand competitors of all ages expected to take part in the event.
The carnival is open to competitors from under 9-years-old to over 40-years-old, including competitors with disability.
A range of water and beach events will run, including swim, board, ironperson, ski, sprints, beach flags and beach runs.
Marquee events include the Tradies Open Mixed Taplin and Brooks Marc Leabeater Open Men's Beach Sprint.
The Tradies Male and Female Open 2km Ski Challenges will also return to the program this year,
With the 2022 Nutri-Grain Ironperson series trials being held in Queensland next month, the Tradies One Club carnival will provide a much-needed hit out for the elite.
Carnival organiser Geoff Allum said it will be great to see members back to surf sports racing.
"Like all parts of the community, our sport has been impacted by the pandemic," he said.
"We'd love to see a huge number of entrants from Bate Bay and clubs across NSW competing and enjoying surf sports.
"To celebrate, we'll be offering cash and loads of prizes, including an Infront nipper board."
Series hopefuls Britney Pierce, Taylar Puskaric, Noah Steiner, Nick Middleton and Nathan Jay from Wanda will make the most of the competition.
They'll be joined by seasoned competitors Jay Furniss (Cronulla), Kendrick Louis (Manly) and Noami Scott (Manly).
"There will be some serious competition at our carnival, but it is very much for all levels of ability," said Mr Allum
"The One Club concept is to bring together nippers and older surf sports athletes at one event."
Given the tough year many businesses have faced, Mr Allum praised the generosity of event sponsors.
"We always greatly value our sponsors," he said. "This year, many have been affected by the pandemic, but have been eager to support the community.
"Huge thanks to major supporter Tradies, along with club sponsors Infront, Masterton Homes and Network 10.
"Carnival supporters Betty's Burgers, Brooks, La Cure, Engine, Ohana, Real Play (Voodoo Dry), Fitness First, Summer of Surf and Triple M are also donating to the carnival to make it a great day for all."
