Conservation work will be carried out on the Woronora River war memorial with a state government grant.
The project will include replacing damaged lighting and installing protective guards to prevent future damage.
Heathcote MP Lee Evans said the grant to the Woronora River RSL sub-Branch was being funded from the Community War Memorial Fund's latest funding round, totalling $125,000.

"Our region has a proud military history and I'm thrilled to see locals actively working to conserve sites that recognise this service and sacrifice," Mr Evans said.
"This war memorial holds special significance to our community."
Grants of up to $10,000 were available for war memorial projects across NSW in the latest round of funding.
Applications for the next round of the Community War Memorial Fund close on February 11 2022.
