Police are hoping to speak to a man depicted in CCTV footage after another man was injured following an assault and robbery at Rockdale last month.
At about 9.30pm on December 21, a man approached the owner of a restaurant at the back of the premises on Kings Lane.
The owner, a man, 46, was assaulted before the unknown man fled, taking his mobile phone.
The injured man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for facial injuries before being taken to St George Hospital. He has since been released.
As investigations into the incident continue, St George Police have released CCTV footage of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
He is depicted as being of solid build, with shaved black hair and an olive complexion.
The man is seen wearing a white t-shirt, cargo shorts, brown work boots and a black 'bum bag' worn across his chest.
