Cancer fund-raiser
FUN RUN: The annual Big Coast Run will be on Sunday with money donated to Cancer Council NSW. The run will be over eight, 10, 20 or 30-kilometre courses at Kamay Botany Bay National Park.
The run will begin near the historic Solander Monument on the shores of Botany Bay and the finish line will be Boat Harbour. The event is suitable for runners of all experience levels, with a number of courses lengths available and prize money on offer to the male and female winners of the 10km and 20km events. The Big Coast Run is organised by the experienced Big Run Events team, who operate the Big Red Run and the Big Burke and Wills Trek. First race is 6.30am.
Cronulla finish first
CANOEING: Cronulla Outrigger Canoe Club men’s team were the first international team to cross the finish line on Monday in the Molokai Outrigger Race in Hawaii. The team were 15th in the gruelling 75-kilometre event. Cronulla’s other men’s team were 64th. Both teams trained all year for the annual event. Port Hacking Outriggers Canoe Club men’s team were 68th.
Connells Point v Balmain
Football: Connells Point under-12 boys team play Balmain DFC at 8.30am, Sunday at Cook Park, St Marys, in the grand final of the Champion of Champions. Connells Points are representing St George Football Association. Connells Point’s under-17s boys team play Normanhurst at 2.30pm on Sunday, in their grand final, at Blacktown Football Park.

GRIDIRON FOOTBALL: Sutherland Seahawks play UTS in the next round of the NSW Gridiron Football League at 7pm, today, Saturday at Kyeemagh RSL and Sports Club.
Fiji Bati v Lebanon
RUGBY LEAGUE: Remondis Stadium, Woolooware, will be host venue for three matches on Saturday when Fiji Bati tackle Lebanon in the under-16s, under-20s and open age international clashes.
The senior teams feature a sprinkling of NRL players, with Sharks back rower Junior Roqica playing for Fiji Bati. Under-16s kick-off is 11am, under-19s at 1pm and open-age clash at 3pm.
