St George police is appealing for public help in identifying a man believed to be involved in two bag snatches in Allawah.
The incidents happened between 11.30am and 2.20pm on Monday, November, 13.
The first incident happened at 11.30am, when a 26-year-old woman was walking on Illawarra Street when a man came up behind her and pulled the bag from her shoulder, causing her to fall to the ground.
The man fled from the scene empty handed, with the woman suffering grazes to her left hand.
The second incident occurred about 2.20pm on Barsbys Avenue, when a 31-year-old woman was approached from behind and had her bag pulled from her arm. As a result she sustained soreness to her forearm.
St George police have released images of a man who may be able to help in the investigation.
He is described as being of Asian appearance, thin build and dressed in a black jacket with tan coloured pants.
