A $33 million luxury apartment development at Cronulla has empty nesters and downsizers firmly in its sights.
The Acqua development was launched this week with the opening of its display suit at Taren Point.
Acqua's 17 luxury one, two and three bedroom apartments are priced between $900,000 and $3.5 million and now available in pre-sales through local agent Highland Project Marketing.
Construction is expected to commence in December with completion scheduled early 2021.
Cronulla-baed construction company Bronxx is behind the residential project which is located at Burke Road, Cronulla, just 100 metres from Cronulla Beach.
Each apartment features a large balcony, double lock-up garage and built-in study.
Owner of Bronxx, Ciaran Goodman, who in 2015 won the Master Builders Association Young Builder of the Year award, said Acqua will attract local older people who are downsizing from family home to spacious apartments.
"We have taken into account the key demands of knowlegeable empty nesters, with large balconies and laundries, ocean views, plenty of storage space, state of the art European appliances and spacious bedrooms", Mr Goodman said.
The apartments, designed by Vic Lake Architects, also feature floor to ceiling windows and underground secure parking.
Each of the apartments has been designed to take advantage of natural light and ocean breezes, with large open balconies for entertaining.
"I have worked with Vic Lake to ensure that our buyers have a very easy transition from their family home to their new home in the sky, with all the modern day luxury's and still have the storage and benefits of a house," Mr Goodman said.
The Acqua display suite is now open at 6/40 Cawarra Road, Taren Point.
