Sutherland Shire Police have thanked the public for helping locate a missing teen.
The male, 17, had been missing from his Cronulla home since last Monday, July 19.
Sutherland Shire Police Area Command says officers from the command were notified last Thursday after he failed to return home or contact family members.
The command put out an alert on its Facebook page on Friday and said both police and his family were concerned for his safety.
Police said the 17-year-youth who had been missing has now been located.
"We thank everyone who shared this post in the effort of locating this young man," Sutherland Shire Police Area Command said.
